The fight against Lilith will have to wait a few extra months. Although Firaxis and 2K Games have been rolling out a steady stream of promos for Marvel’s Midnight Suns, the upcoming tactical RPG isn’t hitting stores on October 7 as previously expected. Instead, the developers have delayed its release until later this fiscal year.2K’s parent company, Take-Two Interactive, shared the news during today’s financial earnings report (via IGN). Apparently, they need the extra time ‘to ensure the teams at Firaxis Games and 2K deliver the best possible experience for our fans.

After the EVO 2022 top eight event, Bandai Namco and Dragon Ball FighterZ producer Tomoko Hiroki took the stage. Through a translator, she announced next-generation versions of the popular fighter were coming soon and rollback netcode along with it. The announcement came after the grand finals, which ran late into the early Sunday morning hours.

Sega’s finally bringing Phantasy Star Online 2 to PS4 in the West

PlayStation customers in the West are finally getting their version of Phantasy Star Online 2, more than a decade after the game’s original release on Windows PC in Japan and more than six years after the online RPG’s launch on PlayStation 4 overseas. Sega announced Friday that the current version of the game, Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis, will come to PS4 on Aug. 31.
Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis is already available in North America and Europe on Xbox platforms and Windows PC, part because of a push from Xbox head Phil Spencer, who brought Sega’s game to Xbox’s E3 2019 stage show.
